The Liberty Free Methodist Church, a member of the Free Methodist Church USA, had its origins in Sullivan County, New York about 150 years ago.
The corporate life of the Liberty Free Methodist Church includes worship (with nursery for children ages 3 and under and Children's Church for ages 4-grade 3), Sunday school for all ages, a youth group for students in grades 7-12 and Connection groups (on a semester schedule) for adults.
At Liberty Free Methodist Church we dream of being an Acts 2 church.
Holy
All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit ... Acts 2:4a
Healthy
They devoted themselves to the apostle's teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Acts 2:42
Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts. Acts 2:46
Helping
All the believers were together and had everything in common. Selling their posessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need. Acts 2:44,45
Harvesting
And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved. Acts 2:47b
The purpose of LFMC is to be a disciple-making church: living by faith in Jesus Christ as we obey His Great Commission and Great Commandment.
