Dick Devendorf is a native of upstate New York. Dick has also called Maine, New Hampshire, Connecticut, Virginia, Mississippi, Texas and Pennsylvania home.
Dick came to know the Lord in a life-changing way at the age of 12 during a church membership class. He went on to receive his Bachelor of Theology and an honorary Doctor of Divinity degree from International Bible Institute and Seminary in Plymouth, Florida and his Masters Degree from Pacific Coast Bible College in Sacramento, California. Dr. Devendorf was ordained in 1979.
Through his career, Dick has received valuable ministry and work experience as a pastor, church planter, marketing manager and fund raiser. He has published numerous articles and planted eight churches.
In addition to serving as the pastor of the Liberty Free Methodist Church “Pastor Dick” also serves as an instructor for Walk Thru the Bible Ministries. During his ministry with Walk Thru, Dick has received both the Rookie of the Year and President's Circle of Excellence awards.
With his wife, Bonnie, Dick enjoys an active life that includes time for the families of their two sons and daughter (six grandchildren), touring covered bridges, puzzles and books of all kinds.
